1) Hawaii happened. And it was stellar.
2) I lost my wallet in Salt Lake City international airport upon my return. (Good thing it was on the return flight rather than on my way out, I know, but still...what a pain!) I've been busy the past week figuring out stuff with my credit/debit cards, etc., etc. It hasn't been very delightful, but it's all taken care of.
(While I'm on the subject, kudos to Discover card and their wallet protection program. They were most helpful, and when I purchase a wallet with my new Discover card, they'll reimburse me up to $100. Neato! I found a super cute one on Etsy. Just awaiting its safe arrival...)
3) Strange as it may seem, life went on without me; I missed nearly 2 weeks of life with Thanksgiving and Hawaii, and there's been lots to catch up on with work and churchy stuff, so...the blog takes the backseat when life gets in the way. That's just the way it goes, right?
My Thanksgiving was fantastic, by the way...
My entire immediate family gathered at Mom and Dad's place, and it was lovely! And delicious! (My mom's got the whole "turkey" thing pegged, by the way; the bird was so tender it was almost ridiculous.) The sides were all amazing, too. All of them. (I was too busy playing with the nieces and nephews to even think to take a picture of the spread on our table this year.)

Me and my Seff!
Sweet Emmett(I kissed those cheeks to my heart's content!)
Best buds: Marshall and Sethington
Jackson scaling (and conquering?) Uncle Goose
Kaylee J (this muffin melts my heart!)There were adults at the festivities, too. Lots of them. They helped make my Thanksgiving so darn fantastic. Maybe next time I'll think to take pictures of them as well...
Before I go, there's one more thing I want to share.
