| we took a little commuter plane from SLC to Houston (is that right?) it was teeny and bumpy and it lasted three hours. |
THE HIGHLIGHTS (in no particular order):
-"Scrunchamania"
I (Gina) killed the power with my blow drier. For the entire upstairs of our B&B.
-Being sleep deprived for almost the entirety of the trip.
-Swimming in the Rhein.
-Staying with Yana and Sergio for a few nights.

-Staying with Yana and Sergio for a few nights.
-Temporarily losing our Swiss Pass. Yikes.
-Rigi Kulm was freakin' amazing.
-The chocolate. Oh, the chocolate!
-Difficulty finding Laderach, but totally worth it.
-EVERY day is a big day.
-Missing our Sound of Music tour (in Austria, obviously),
and getting a private tour instead.
-Staying in the sketchy Munich hotel.
-"To hell with it."
-Bratwurst and bread. #yum
-Swiss ice cream is the bomb.
-Traffic
-"Why aren't you a rockstar?!"
-"I'm really good at Asian."
-"Can you please not talk loud?"
-BEANO!
-Mozartballs (am I right, Jen?)
-The ridiculous shower head in one of the B&Bs
-Third floor, room six
-What makes the water so blue? "KoolAid powder."
-Meiringen waitress bringing our receipt with our food.
Somehow, she didn't like us before we eve sat down.

-"This gum is so much better than the meringue."
-Being ill-prepared for the cold that is Jungfrau
(Jeans wore 3 layers total).
(Jeans wore 3 layers total).
-44km/h wind blowing Jen around on the ice at the Top of Europe.
-Accidentally knocking a guy (pretty hard) at Jungfrau
and then sitting across from him on the train back to town.
-If we were flavors, we would be:
chocolate, cinnamon, and...wheatgrass.
chocolate, cinnamon, and...wheatgrass.
-"So what does 'donzerly' mean?"
-"Hode on, hode on!"
-SOMEone had a hard time figuring out military time...
-"Hey, he took off his sweater vest."
-"I'd like to see the Matterhorn, but I've been on the Disney ride,
so that's basically the same thing." #cultured
-We found Dr. Pepper in Wengen!
-"Jeanna, I'm so glad you were born in the wrong decade!"
-In order to cheer Jen up after someone took off with her iPad,
I decided to sing her a Michael Jackson song (her favorite artist);
the song that came out of my mouth? Smooth Criminal
-Doing a session at the Bern temple
-Barely making it onto our train to Zurich at the busiest
time of day in Bern
-A tall handsome man offering to help me with my luggage
when he saw me struggling onto the train.
-Meeting Oliver, who works in Bern and lives in Zurich, who was
very helpful, friendly, and handsome. He sat and talked with us
for a good portion of the ride to Zurich, and he even gave us
his password to use his wifi on the train. We kind of loved Oliver.
-I got smooshed by train doors. It did not feel terrific.
-The Burg Hohenklingen hike. Yana said it would be a pleasant little walk,
but she lied. We were sweaty and gross by the time we reached the castle.
-Stein am Rhein is probably the quaintest of all the villages in the world.

Switzerland is amazing, and I was in terrific company the entire time. (Jen and Jeanna are stellar travel companions.)
