In the mean time...our co-ed slow pitch softball team won our game on Monday night. By 8. (Wahoo!) When we win, it seems, we win big. Too bad our record is 3 and 4, huh? But I feel a winning streak coming on, yes I do! But even if we lose, it's okay; I really love playing softball. We'll see how it goes tonight. Our game is at 9:30pm. Kinda late, me thinks...especially since it takes me FOREVER to wind down after a game. Oh well...I think it's worth it. Mostly. :)
Oh, and here's another fun fact about our softball team: Brooke is our captain, and I am our sponsor. Yep, it's true. Our team name is G.O. Speech Therapy. It makes me feel all adult and stuff. I feel like George Steinbrenner & Sons, but not evil. Or rich. And I am NOT a jerk. (How did this happen? I was told by my brothers that I am to hate the Yankees, and it just so happens that I DO hate them. Loathe them, even. I do not understand how I even got off on this nasty little tangent!)
Okay...enough sports talk, I guess...
What else can I update you about? The weather has turned warm. Hot, actually. But I'm not going to complain, because I'm done with the crap weather we've been dealing with up until last week...
Anyway, I've got more stories, but they just aren't the same without pictures. (grumble, grumble, curse, curse!) We'll call this good for now.
