Oh gee. Today's not been great; cancellations and no-shows. Up. The. Wazoo. Plus a couple of other things that very nearly made me cry.
Whatever though. Life goes on. And I actually had a full late-afternoon work schedule. This helped improve my outlook on life quite a bit.
So...just before my last client came in, I went to the restroom. (Let's just say my eyes were floating.)
Sorry...too much info? Well, prepare to get uncomfortable!
My cell phone fell out of my pocket. Into the toilet! UGH! How gross is that?! I scooped it out, pulled out the battery to dry, and scrubbed my hands in near-boiling water with buckets of soap.
A very important process!
Let the phone dry during the session. Put phone back together, and it wouldn't turn on. (This is actually a blessing in and of itself; who wants a phone once it's been in the toilet?!)
So. After work, I went to visit-teach a couple of sisters in my branch. It had to be a quick visit, because one of the gals had a date (woo-hoo!). Then I made my way to the nearest Verizon store.
Fortunately, I've been paying for insurance on my phone. SO GRATEFUL for insurance!
So yeah...I got to Verizon and queued in line for my turn.
Long story short: I have a new cell phone. But apparently when you get your phone wet enough that it can't turn back on, you lose EVERYTHING. Sounds. Pictures. Phone numbers.
Icing on the cake, people...
Not sure if I'm looking forward to tomorrow or not...

Oh, Tyler would be so jealous. He wants that CD pronto. I think I would have left my cell in the toilet. That grosses me out! But, I'm glad you have insurance! You have a chocolate?? I got the lg env touch...and the best part is I can text you and you don't have my number...he he he...

boo for crappy days. i wish i would have been there to try and cheer you up. and SO sorry about the phone. i have done that before and it is not. fun. at. all. gross. just think, it can only get better from here right?

so that reminds me when I was nursing and Zurich popped off and puked all over my palm. It wouldn't turn on... couldn't afford a new one etc etc. So I popped a corner of it open and let it hang out there a few days used a air can and did my best to get out the pukey residue... luckily it works again, it just took a few days of drying before it actually was dry enough to work... so maybe there is hope for the info on the phone... unless it was totally in the toilet for a while? :) sorry you lost all your pics and stuff I hate that kind of stuff.
That's the pittttts!! I dropped a pager in the toilet at work once. Not one of my favorite things to tell the boss. Love your crap picture though. That's gotta put a smile on the bad day.
