Also, I'm not a big fan of caramel. For real. (I've been called a Communist over this little "issue" so whatever slander you want to throw my way for this, bring it.) I especially dislike chewy caramel. Something about it just ain't right. (Something about the gooey caramel is less offensive to me.)
Having said that (it all ties together right here!), I love Chocolate-Covered Macadamia Nuts With Caramel. A gal I work with just got back from a trip to Hawaii, and she brought a couple of boxes of this culinary delight to share with the rest of the office. I could eat my weight in Chocolate-Covered Macadamia Nuts With Caramel. WOW!
Moving on...
This past weekend, Goose Janel and Marshall came up to North-of-Zion to fix Brent's car. They picked me up on their way to the 'burg and I got to hang out with them for a few hours.
Whilst Brent watched Goose fix his car, Janel and I took Marshall up to the university bookstore to kill some time. (Don't judge, okay? We'd have loved to play at a park, but North-of-Zion decided to snow on Saturday, so the park wasn't so much an option.)
I.Love.Bookstores. Now you know. I love them so much.
After murdering a couple of hours there, we dined at Craigo's for a pizza buffet. (If one must eat buffet, it might as well be pizza! I'm not wrong, am I?)
Then we all came to my place and napped/watched a movie. It was a totally stellar, relaxed day with the fam: PERFECTO!

That's exactly what I'm talking about. You think you are the decider of what is good. You're one of like seven freaks in the whole world that doesn't like chocolates or caramels, and combined with all the other dozens of things you don't like, there would be a better statistical chance of an asteroid coming through my window and landing on my belly button than of being you. Congratulations. You're a one-in-five trillion anomaly. But then you find some combination that you deem acceptable, and we're all supposed to think you have an amazing palate. It's like saying, I don't like lemon, and I don't like pork rinds, but when it's lemon raspberry-flavored pork rinds, it's spectacular! I am going to keep writing about this until everyone sees you for what you really are. I might even address it on my own blog, now that I'm on the HCG diet and food is pretty much all I think about unless Amy is seducing me or there is a TV commercial featuring a monkey.

Sounds almost as good as Chocolate turtles.
I don't like caramel either. Unless it's caramel sauce on like ice cream..then it's okay. Or inside of a candy bar (like Snickers). But I do not like the caramel inside of those assorted chocolates or other types. You are not alone!!!
ok I knew it. I did but still the picture of the janel and Goose kills me. He is so huge. This is the part I knew. And she is so tiny. This the part I knew somehow too. So cute though.
Gina have you ever tried See's brown sugar squares? You must. You will love them, and even if you don't... I will still love you.

PS I will have to try some of those treats someday... the carmel/chocolates of my choice are Grandma (Sister) Packer's homemade. You just can't beat those!
this is why we get along. (among other SO MANY other reasons.) I can eat the carmel ones and you can eat the ucky nutty kind. Or else, we can avoid the boxed chocolates altogether and share a package of reese's peanut butter cups. That works for me, too.
I love how you type the way you talk. I can totally hear you saying all this, which makes me happy since, although we live together, I feel that I don't hear you talk often enough. Not that you've stopped talking. Oh, no. That's FAR from the truth! just that we're never home and I miss you!
Now, I have something to say about the "monkey on TV" comment AND about your ridiculously picky palate. I agree with BOTH concepts. Your brother is a genius. I also agree that this picture of Goose and Janel sort of reminds me of David and Goliath. Give the girl a sling shot. And then probably give Goose a helmet. We wouldn't want anything bad to happen.
