Ode to Cheerios

This Ginabean loves Cheerios, it's my cereal of choice;
There are so many different kinds it makes my heart rejoice!
I really dig the MultiGrain --delectible whenever!
Then there is the Fruity kind--this flavor makes me smile.
Apple Cinnamon's always great; the combo is worthwhile!
And Chocolate Cheerios are BOMB, an idea so divine!
They are so tasty and delish for them I often pine...
Cinnamon Burst is the newest kind--my world it doth rock;
It really makes me salivate at the very thought.
What makes it even better is they're all made with whole grains;
Cheerios are a healthy choice, so mothers can't complain.

Okay, so it's not my greatest poem ever, I know. But really...
I was grocery shopping last week, and I totally needed some cereal; I was running out of MultiGrain Cheerios, you see. I put on my grocery list: Fruity Cheerios. Because I wanted a little some'm some'm different.
I meandered around the store and was about to grab said Fruity Cheerios when I stopped short; a brand new Cheerios (Cinnamon Burst!) had caught my eye.
I. Love. Cinnamon.
It's, like, the best flavor. Ever. (Well...it's right up there with chocolate, at least.)
In case you were wondering, I bought both the Fruity and the Cinnamon Burst.
I'm totally in love with the Cinnamon Burst, too.
Cheerios sure have come up with a lot of flavors! I looked 'em up online, and there are a total of 12 flavors. TWELVE, y'all! (The kinds I didn't mention? Banana Nut (GROSS!), Cheerios Crunch, Berry Burst, Frosted, and Yogurt Burst.)
Anyway...what's your favorite cereal? I'm curious if anyone else even cares...

My favorite is Team Cheerios but they are only out during the Olympics. Sadness. i always fall in love with limited time merchandise.

I am eating Multi Grain Cheerios, as I write! I heard about it on the biggest loser and how good it is for you... so I tried it. Before that I like Honey Nut Cheerios. Well, now I'm hooked... it is the only kind of box cereal I let myself splurge on. Normally I buy stuff in bulk in the bags. I love this stuff. Cinnamon sounds awesome!!!
I would be totally bragging if I wrote a poem like that! And I love cookie crip. Actually, I've been eating so many chocolate chip cookies, it's embarasing. And I could blame it on, "Jane likes to eat them" but she really doesn't. So yeah, at least your love is a healthy one.

gina...you're so obliging. and i have to say I like the kashi cinnamon harvest...it's basically shredded wheat, but tasted so much better, and way better than the frosted kinds, but you have to get the cinnamon. the other flavors aren't as good
so a bit off topic, but have you ever tried the cinnamon they sell at Costco? Saigon Cinnamon. Oh dear, you will LOVE it. It is so fabulous. Now you know.
