I really like my car--the one I wrecked, I mean. Not the ridiculous rental I've got in the mean time.

2010 Chevy AveoMy dad calls it The Banana. I guess if we're going to name it, The Banana is quite fitting, as I hate bananas and this car. (Perhaps equally?)
I might've liked this car in high school, but...I guess my tastes have matured since then. A lot.
Just because it's newer than my '03 Nissan Altima does not mean this silly Aveo is better or nicer than Handsome Rob.
I've been driving Handsome Rob for nearly 5 years and I've grown quite accustomed to his spacious niceness.
The Banana, let's just be honest, looks like a toy. And it's roughly the size of a Power Wheels.

Good news, though! He's not been totaled! The swell fellas at Eaton Collision Repair can fix him! It's just rotten luck that I'll be driving The Banana for the remainder of the month.
Also, I'm gonna have to buy a new nose bra for him...

Handsome Rob is much nicer than that Lemon! I remember when I was going on vacation and the nice folks at Avis Car Rentals informed me that the car possibilities for me included the Aveo I was actively praying on the plane ride that I did not get some lime green Aveo. Luckily someone listened while I prayed and I got a red Focus.
If Handsome Rob is "male", he probably shouldn't need to be wearing a bra.
Those pictures of Handsome Rob are so so sad! Do you remember when I wrecked Vance's car when we were enegaged. I swore he was going to break it off... But I actually think your rental is cute.... but Altima's are pretty nice cars.
I must say I agree with you: the banana is not quite as tasteful as Handsome Rob. On a side note though, I'm glad you're okay and your car wasn't totaled.
I don't know if you have given the Banana a fair enough try. Maybe try calling him Custard instead, so that he sounds more like a treat than fruit? That might help.
And those nose bra things are mental
i agree with you. i had an aveo for a rental once. blech. no room. weird distance from my head to the windshield-did not inspire confidence in case of an accident. they only work for people of smaller stature that's for sure. and even though i love the color yellow...
Oh my gosh! So obviously I am way behind, but ate you okay? Yay for handsome Rob not being totaled!
