Lunch with Aaron

Today is Monday, and I've been dreading it since approximately 3:30pm yesterday. Because, guys, I had a super fun weekend, and I wanted it to stay the weekend for another day or two. Nothing new there, really, but still, I was dreading Monday a bit harder than usual.

Then I came to work, and all was well enough. And then my 9:30 cancelled, which opened up the remainder of my morning, so I went home.

After cleaning the upstairs bathroom and chatting with Brookie for a bit (she's on spring break), Aaron called. He bought a new car (new for him, at least) last week, and wanted to get it on the freeway, so naturally he headed on up to Idaho. To see yours truly.

Honestly, he was hoping to surprise me and take me to lunch...but time was not our friend; he'd have gotten to IF just about the time I would be getting back to work. So I ended up meeting him in Pocatello.

It was very unexpected, and I don't feel a deep and abiding love for Pocatello, but it was worth the 50 mile drive (each way) to spend roughly 45 minutes with my older brother.

He makes me laugh.

Thanks for thinking of me today, Aaron! Love you!

PS The reason I loved this past weekend so much had pretty much everything to do with the Holi Festival of Colors in Spanish Fork, UT. A colorful post is forthcoming, watch for it.

Yeah, Aaron is okay, I guess. But what of your youngest brother, with whom you will spend some time this weekend?
