I actually got up rather early for a Saturday (right around 8am) and then got to work straightening out my bedroom. Then I ran some errands, talked to my Momma on the phone, started some laundry, and as I'm typing this I have a fresh homemade apple pie in the oven. There's really not much else for me to do, and it's not quite 2pm. What's a girl to do?! My brother Vance gave me some edited movies (VHS, so he's not interested in them any more) when I went home last weekend...perhaps I'll put in Con Air and see what that's all about.
Oh yeah, another something I've done today is google pictures of Havasupai Falls. My friends and I are headed there (Havasupai Falls in the Grand Canyon) in a matter of WEEKS, and I cannot wait! So I borrowed some pictures off of their website to post so that y'all can get excited right along with me! We'll be hiking--no wait, BACKPACKING--in to a camping area, which is roughly 10 miles in. Then we'll stay a couple of nights, play around in the falls, and hike back out. I miss hiking so much, but I'm really hoping that this trip doesn't kill me...(I've kinda let myself go this past winter). They say the weather should be in the 70s during the day and as low as the 40s at night. (Hopefully I don't freeze at night, eh?) -I'm going to focus on the positive here though: I'll be surrounded by BEAUTIFUL nature in country where I've never been before, chillin' with my friends, and I won't have to deal with any snow! (I'm SO ready for winter to end!)
Here are some of the pics I found online.

So now you can see why I'm pretty excited for March 26th to roll around eh?! I can hardly wait! The ride down is gonna be LONG, but I'll be with friends. (We're even picking up Janell along the way! Yeehaw!) I'll be sure to take all sorts of pictures and then post them on here, once the trip has come to pass...

Gina, that sounds like so much fun. I've always wanted to go to Lake Havasu. I've heard a lot of good things about it. Make sure you do post lots of pictures, I'd love to see them. Good job on the pie. You'll make your husband a very happy man one day. That's one of Carson's complaints, I don't cook enough (and I totally agree!)
That sounds like so much fun! I can't wait to see the pictures you'll take on your trip. You'll have so much fun! Way to go on making a homemade pie! I'm glad to keep your blog updated often! Blogging is so much fun!
I sort of love those Saturday's where I get everything done really early, and then relax and do whatever else I want to. HOpe you had a good rest of your day:) Oh and I hope you really enjoyed that pie...it sure sounded good!
That looks absolutely beautiful. I'm looking forward to your personal photography though.
Too bad I didn't read this earlier. Matt, Jeff and I went to see August Rush. (Really good by the way) Matt could have used a date. Next time you're bored and home alone, let us know.
what a blast :) I want lots of pictures when you go!
Looks fake.
