Last year in the middle of October, my friends and I went to Island Park and Yellowstone. Looks like it's become a tradition, because we did it again this year.

I'm not gonna lie to you; I was nervous about the weather. Days before we left, it was so cold here in IF...and things get colder the farther north you go, in case you forgot. However...the temperature was pretty much perfect, and we had ourselves a terrific time!

PS "We" includes: Chris, Lisa, Brooke, Cameron and me...

Friday evening we hiked to the old, abandoned and decrepit fire watch tower.We did this over Memorial Day weekend too...I'm so grateful the weather was more agreeable this time around! Then we went back to Cameron's cabin to eat, relax and sleep...and then we went into the park.
