Yellowstone

To help Lisa celebrate her birthday appropriately, we headed north to Island Park to stay the night in Cameron's cabin Friday night. ("We" includes: Lisa, Brooke, Gina, Kattie, Mathew, and Cameron). Then it was off to Yellowstone for most of Saturday. It was a good time; I think it was good enough for Lisa. (I know she wanted to be somewhere far away to really celebrate...but Yellowstone wasn't so bad!)

We decorated the cabin birthday-style
and ate some blue cake and ice cream.
(The cake, originally, was cute...but the top got mushed
and so we had to scrape the icing off the cake pan lid. BOO!)

A large group of buffalo blocking the road.
There were a couple of angry males in this group...
One of 'em even snorted and hopped about.
(None of us knew a buffalo could move like that!)

So yeah...it was a good time; it was a bit cold at times, but overall the weather was gorgeous, and we saw some beautiful sights! Yellowstone is pretty terrific!
