Brigham City

This past weekend I went home to visit the family and to help babysit my cute little nephews. I headed home Friday just before noon. Got home in time to get in a minor accident with my father. (I'm aware that sounds much worse than it actually was...if you want to know, go ahead and ask.) Went to Farmington to visit Aaron and Amy for a bit and to take their children away for the weekend. Spent some time with Vance and Abby that night; Vance hooked me up with some excellent music (NICE!). Anyway...I took tons of pictures of the boys this weekend; here are a few.

Sethington in his car seat.
Isn't he gorgeous?!

Here's Jackson on the ride from Farmington to Brigham...
He, too, is a handsome devil.

Both boys fell asleep on the way to Brigham City.

Tub time!
Jackson had fun playing with little cups and the faucet.
He looks so much like Aaron when he was young...

Seth being cute and wet...

Jackson rockin' out on Gramma's rocking chair.
(He LOVES this thing.)

Breakfasting.
Jackson is all about chocolate muffins lately.
Not sure what Seth's doing, but it's cute.

Seth likes to walk around holding onto your fingers...
He's gonna be walking on his own before you know it.
Then we'll have to chase 2 little boys around...

Sittin' on Uncle Goose.
They both liked it...

Seth likes to dance. Saturday night he was a dancing fool...
and then he got shy and stopped when I busted out the camera.
I caught a teeny bit of it though...

So basically, I love being an aunt! It was fun playing with the boys all weekend. Mostly Mom was there too, and I was the "helper girl." But Saturday evening she and Dad went to stake conference so it was just me and the boys. (Technically Goose was home, but he was downstairs for most of the time). So...I took on the challenge of bathing both boys at once. This is difficult stuff! Seth was bawling the whole time, so I took him out pretty quick and got him all dressed. Jackson is ALWAYS a happy boy if he's anywhere near water, so I kept the door open and kept checking on him. When Seth was in his jammies, I took another look in the bathroom and saw that Jackson was turning it into a swamp or something...so I put Seth down and ended Jackson's tub party rather abruptly. Seth, at this point, was ready for love and affection...and a bottle...so he sat on the floor and bawled while I got Jackson dressed. (It nearly broke my heart!) I had some music playing in the background; when "Queen of Hearts" started to play, Seth stopped bawling for a few seconds and listened. And then he started to dance and bawl simultaneously. It was the cutest, most pathetic thing I've ever seen. Anyway...the evening went on from there. Once I got Jackson dressed, I was able to feed Seth his bottle, at which point he got all cuddly and cute. And Jackson got destructive. My parents' house is not necessarily child-proof, so at this point in the evening, I yelled downstairs and woke Goose up out of his sleepy stupor so I could take care of the accumulating mess. Oi. It really was an enjoyable night though! I love those boys to pieces!
