Monday morning, a gal I work with (Brittany) said the stitches looked like hair on my upper knuckle. Dark, coarse hair. Eeeew. Funny, but eeeew.
Yesterday, two of my five stitches came untied, so I pulled them out. I was supposed to get them removed today, but since nearly half of them were gone, I thought I'd just hurry the process along: I had my friend Skyler take 'em out last night.
The injury...I'm just astounded at what the body is capable of. It's so darn amazing that if your flesh accidentally gets cut open, it can seal itself back together (with a little help from my friends, of course). I'm seriously in awe of the human body.

So cool! What an awesome scar!
Too bad it happened, but it does look so very good, a week + later.
It looks like it has healed nice. It will be a cool looking scar. And yes I have to agree the human body is so awesome. A wonder to think about how it all works.
I'm seriously grossed out. I can watch someone get his legs blown off or shot through the neck in Band of Brothers, but if I know a cut is real, it's gets my goat. The stitches all up your pretty finger makes it even worse.
I dig the whole use of letters, I think you should start including a number as well. It'd be kind of like Sesame Street. "Today's letter is the letter A! Could you tell everybody the number of the day, Count?" "5! 5 steetches, ha ha!"
I'm glad it's healing well. Those pics of the original cut give me the heeby jeebies.
