thrift shopping...

sometimes when we get bored, jami and i go "shopping" at thrift stores.

honestly, we look for stuff we might actually want to buy...

but we (almost) never find anything worth purchasing,

and we end up trying on ridiculous items of clothing.

the proof is in the pictures, i'm sure:

jami said this looks like something a RS president would wear in the '90s.

we were looking for something to wear to a neil diamond concert in july.
i SO wish jami would've bought that dress...

i cannot believe i'm actually going to post these next few pictures.

it's proof that i have no shame (or pride, for that matter)...

we were at one particular thrift store in town

when this little number caught our attention.

i thought it looked, in a way, rather sneetch-y

and couldn't resist the urge to try it on.

of course, jami couldn't resist the urge to take pictures.

(heaven help me; why am i posting these?)

(i think i promised jami i'd do it, and my word is my bond?)

(i sure feel like breaking that promise right about now)

the outside of the material made me think of a yeti of sorts;
the inside of the material was scratchy.
i have no idea what it's actually supposed to be, but i was roasting.

there are no words, right?

i still feel like i came off the winner, though,
because jami very nearly peed her pants while i paraded around.
