I started off the morning with car problems. Mostly resolved, but still...car issues cause me such stress!
Driving home, not exactly feeling thrilled with my car situation, I got pulled over. I was only going 20-25, so I couldn't figure it out. The officer told me I failed to stop at the stop sign over by the train tracks. -I always wondered why they even had that stop sign there...but I always stop anyway. Except for today, 'cause my mind's on other things. The cop asked me where I was going, where I had come from, blah, blah, blah. I gave him my license and registration, etc., trying to be calm. Surely he won't give me a ticket, right? He'll see my clean record and let me off with a warning, right?
WRONG.
Do you know how expensive that ticket is? Care to venture a guess?
I'll let you think about it.
Do you give up?
$75.00. For reals.
I hate today, and it's not even noon!
Now I'm going to eat some lunch and bust open the scriptures, because, let's face it, I need a pick-me-up...
And typically, feasting on food and the word of the Lord...well it just works.

That sucks. I got pulled over for crossing a double yellow line a few days ago. I am glad mine was only $75. In Vegas is would have been $250.
Oh, Gina bean. I"m sorry you are having a bad day. I was thinking about you today, and I almost sent you a text. Even though police men aren't very nice sometimes, there are a few nice ones out there. My dad was pretty nice, but he's retired now. I managed to get two nice policemen when I got pulled over and when I got in an accident (my fault,) both of them didn't give me a ticket. And if that doesn't help you can always think of Karl Windslow. :)
That is a crummy day! I cannot believe he gave you a ticket!! Probably thought you were one of those girls that always flirted with the other cops to. Hmmm? Kidding, hope you have a better day tomorrow.
That SUCKS!! I've heard they are really watching that around here lately. I bet you STOP at that thing every time now.
That sucks big time!!! I guess the police in Idaho don't have any "real" police work to do so they take what they can get.
Oh Gina, That is seriously not cool how much that ticket is. I hopw your day gets better.
ah I know, remember my clean record, all to the crapper. My ticket was 82 though so as far as I'm concerned you are lucky. Still totally sucks though. It killed not only my day but about a month for me till I got things straightened out. It was right before we celebrated our anniversary.
Why did you go all private, too popular? :)
I am sorry about the ticket and then the tires! Life always goes in spurts! I feel for you :)
