It used to be a chair for my computer desk.It was getting wobbly (really, really wobbly), so I found the right tool to take it apart and mend it. It really seemed simple enough.
Alas...you can see the damage.
Irreparable.
I'd probably swear if I didn't find it so dang funny...
Looks like I'm going shopping at some point today...

Look what I can do!
I bought a new chair, had my friend Cameron hoist it upstairs to my room, and I put it together. All by myself! (With the instructions nearby, of course.)
Also, I thought I'd give you all a gander at my "neato" scar from when my right ring finger was sliced open...

I don't really know how you did that to your chair. But the new one looks much nicer. I should try that technique for when I want something new.
WOWZERS!!! And when did you un-privatize your blog? I love it...now I will seriously check it more often. Sorry I didn't so much before. Let's just say I haven't done much blogging at all lately.
