Apparently Saying "All Januaries Suck" is a Gross Overgeneralization?

January is a tricksy month, you know...

It's lovely because of the New Year: a fresh start! Aaaand...that's it.

"A fresh start is" the only positive thing I can come up with about January.

Typically...

But this January? This January has made me re-think hating every January as it comes just because it's January.

It's kind of weird to not hate January, on principle.

Weird, but wonderful!

I'll take it!

I feel like I'm in a really good place right now. Work is good, I love my calling, I adore my family, my friends are stellar (check, check, check, check). None of these are new developments, but I just feel...at peace. Content. Blessed. And HAPPY!


It's crazy to think that tomorrow is February. January just sped on by, and I kept myself busy doing a hundred things (besides blogging, apparently; and I'm honestly trying to think of something blog-worthy to include in this post. Coming up blank, folks).

But! I've done pretty well keeping my resolutions! (1. Finding the positive in every situation? Eh...I'm at least looking. 2. Be aware of those around me, and serve them with a smile? Really trying! 3. Drinking more water? Yes! Am I drinking enough? NO! But I'm drinking more, and I'll get there! 4. Daily fruits and veggies? Yep. Could improve on this one, but I'm getting at least one serving of each daily...and it's really the fruit part that's holding me up. 5. Daily scripture study? Dude, I'm owning this resolution. Boo-yah!

Anyway, here's to a terrific January. (Cheers, you wily month, you!)

And here's to the coming months! February is bound to be at least as fantastic as its preceding month, I'm sure of it.
