Friday I cleaned the house and ran some errands and felt very accomplished. (Very accomplished indeed! I got a lot done!) That evening I went to a ward Christmas party and sang a duet with Lisa Jenkins. I even had a small solo, and I didn't die or soil myself or vomit or anything! (This really is big news; I've sung one "public" solo in my life, and that was in Concert Choir in high school where I had to sing a solo in order to get an A in the class. Solos terrify me!) Anyway...my left leg started shaking like crazy, but I didn't fall over or anything! All was well!
Saturday...was less productive. I took a nap, ran some errands with the roommates, then came home and made some pizza crust. And then we made our way to Matt and Josh's place to top and bake (and, of course, eat) the pizzas. And then we had a mini Office marathon. Season 4. Tasty food, great company, hilarious entertainment; "win-win-win." Oh yeah, and after we watched a few episodes of The Office, we went to see the dancing Christmas lights out in Iona. (There are a couple of houses who have their lights set up to music...similar to what I've posted below, but different.)
The one we saw Saturday was BRIGHT
and it was like the lights were on crack or something...
I thought I might go into a seizure.
But I didn't.

Hmm...Sunday...I, of course, went to church. Lisa and I sang "Christmas Lullaby" again, but this time Brookey sang with us. Then...had a little gift exchange after church with the roommates (thanks again, girls!) and had a DELISH lunch. And then...some other stuff that involved friends coming over to watch Christmas movies...etc., and so on, and so forth.
A wonderful weekend leading up to Christmas!
And now...a shout-out to my baby brother (who is currently serving a mission and therefore can't read this; a shout-out anyway):

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Brent!!!
Oh yeah...and I wanted to say thanks to Coretta for my awesome new blog header; it totally made my day! What a fantastic Christmas gifty, my cute friend! You. Are. Amazing! I smile every time I think about it. :)

I think I remember that solo in Concert Choir. I thought that was so mean of Mrs B to make us do. I am proud of your solo job! Way to push yourself. You are better than I.
